A little about us

My name is Cece Vailes, and I founded Vailes K-9 Academy for a simple reason: I've been in your shoes.

I know what it's like to bring home a new dog, full of hope, and watch things go wrong anyway. I adopted Zuri, a husky rescued from unlivable conditions. She had every reason not to trust people. I wanted to be the reason she did.

So I set out to learn how to help her myself. I certified through Animal Behavior College in Dog Obedience Training, Pet CPR & First Aid, and Positive Reinforcement Training. Then I brought everything home to the one student who mattered most: Zuri. Day by day, I watched her change — cautious trust becoming confidence, and confidence becoming joy.

That was the moment I found my mission: to help as many families and their dogs as possible. I'm a member of the Pet Professional Guild, and I founded Vailes K-9 Academy to be the honest, positive, patient help every dog and owner deserves.

Whether it's training, walking, or sitting — when you trust me with your dog, you're trusting someone who has stood exactly where you're standing, and found the way through. With patience. With kindness. With joyful moments.
